Three years of working on what I was never sure would work, payed off this year with a rock solid Windows 7 x64 driver for Ensoniq PARIS. Unfortunately, the PACE code embedded in PARIS 3.0 is not compatible with a 64 bit operating system, and Intelligent Devices have not released a PACE free version. But, they say they plan to do so. We can still use 2.2 under Windows 7 64, and I encourage all those with a valid PARIS 3.0 license to contact Intelligent Devices to let them know that PARIS 3.0 on Windows 7 64 matters to you.
I'm currently working on a low-latency, full featured ASIO driver for PARIS that will allow selecting MEC modules, have a mixer window, and work at 24 bit. As soon as I have that done, I'll announce it here and on Kerry Galloway's PARIS forum.
I can't provide support for the free software below, but I can provide links to it.
You can find links to useful PARIS software on Kerry's Wiki.
Chuck Duffy's original PARIS effects can be found here.
The original PARIS 3.0 installer can be found here.
For those interested in upgrading their PARIS PC, details of my development system can be found here.
The software for sale on this site represents the work I've done tryig to keep PARIS alive and relevant. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported my work over the years. I'm going to do my best to keep it coming. PARIS is stil the best sounding DAW ever produced, and I don't exepct this will ever change.
